The “Mosaic Seat” is approached to design a piece of furniture, that contrasts curvature with straight edges while maintaining symmetry. (Ancient mosaic inlays inspired the checkered design). Its purpose is to bring a sense of subtle luxury to a room. The warm but matt finish on the cherry and the maple helps to make it look elegant while having a complex pattern.
